NEWS! D: First off, I'm starting to get my courses in order for going to ACAD, but MAN their website is sooooo retarded confusing. I hate it. I had to be walked through the courses and such by a friend before I half understand what each abbreviation meant. Like, R mean thursday..? Why IS that? Is there some other name for Thursday in a foreign language that I'm unaware of? I understand T is already taken for Tuesday.. bu really. R? >_o

Anyways. Confusing shite aside, I'm going to be in school a very long time. T_T; Since I can only manage being a part time student (which most can only manage) I'm going to end up being in ACAD for at least an extra year. Which means five to six years instead of four. But at least I'll have a good job. >:D

OH! I GOT 200K HITS!!!!! Thank you everyone! I didn't even notice for the longest time... and then I couldn't believe it was MY page I was looking at. XD Anyways, thank you. :heart:'s all around.

Projects anyone? I'm working on a new project, an online manga that I hope someday I can get published. I'm still working out all the basics at the moment, but I know the title will be 'Kinship & Descent' and it will be about an assassin who trades his soul to a God of Death. That's just the rough one-sentence summery, and it's ALL YOU GET. For now. Until I start uploading character arts for it, like I'm doing with Avatar. Which by the way, once I'm done the character design for Avatar, I will start for K&D. HEH! It's the initials of Kraft Dinner... D: Oh noes.

I think that's all. This journal is jhust here to inform you that I'm going to focusing a lot more on personal projects over the next little while. Originals series, mangas and art, for the most part. I MIGHT do a short pencil doujin to match the "Part Of Your World" picture, but that's about it. :)

Make sure that you get those courses straight. When I was at ACAD I was told in 1st year that I could substitute English courses for History to get my humanities requirement. The policy changed in 3rd year and I wound up having to double up history and theory classes for two years.

Have fun with ACAD my course will be 8 years, 6 aint too bad. Tis awesome you get to do art though *_* totally splendid.

That 'R' doesn't make sense, they should have picked another letter that doesn't already mean something. Yay for places with authority, that suck.

OH oh.. maybe you know the answer to a question.... I was to major in Visual Communications, does that mean I HAVE to take the Viscom course in the first year? Or do I only have to take it in 2nd, 3rd and 4th?

I can't tell you for sure. I would say yes. When I was there, VC was treated as almost an entirely seperate faculty than the rest, and it had different requirements. It was very hard to transfer into, or get classes in that discipline if you weren't already in that path.

What you should do is make an appointment to speak to a student councillor there. It used to be Paul Roberge, but I don't know if he's still there. At any rate you should be able to contact the SC through the registrars office. Talk your academic career path through with them. When you have done so, get him/her to put you in touch with someone going into VC for 4th year to talk about it as well. There should be a few kicking around in the summer that you can get ahold of. If the SC doesn't know of anyone, the Student's Union should be able to find someone for you.
